The Yakima Mako Aero Kayak Rack Saddles include all the features and ease of use of the regular Yakima Mako Saddles, but now includes universal mounts enabling the Yakima Mako Aero Saddles to fasten directly to not only Yakima bars but also all styles of Thule Racks load bars and virtually all factory rack cross bars too, no Yakima Mighty Mounts Adapters necessary! Each Yakima Mako Aero Saddle can also optionally lock to the base rack crossbars using a Yakima Lock (not included; see accessories below.) Saddles feature Dynaflex pads that are very flexible when loading a kayak then firmly grips for a super secure hold during transport. Yakima Mako Aero kayak rack now includes Yakima Mako Pads too, allowing for easier sliding of kayak into saddles and also premium kayak hull protection.

NOTE: The Yakima Mako Aero Saddles are sold as a 1/2 set (one pair), providing you the option to combine the Mako Aero 1/2 set with the Yakima HullyRollers 1/2 set (one pair) for effortless single-person kayak loading or using a full set (two pair) of Mako Aero Saddles either with the Yakima ShowBoat slide-out roller system for easist kayak loading or simply used alone when kayak loading is not a primary concern.
