The Amaruk is a smaller, more compact tandem well suited to day paddling or overnighters. It is ideal for those paddlers who are looking for a full featured double kayak, but who don't want to deal with the extra weight and length of a full blown expedition boat. The Amaruk's distinctive bow provides a fine entry at the waterline while supplying lots of reserve buoyancy and allowing us to reduce the overall length of the boat. This shorter length shaves overall weight and makes the kayak easier to carry by hand, car top, or lift onto a car or SUV. Advanced Carbon Layup. Also available in Fiberglass and Poly.
