Sea Bands are a unique anti-motion-sickness aid for use by all travelers. The product uses the principles and application of accu-pressure, an ancient form of Chinese medicine related to accu-puncture. The doctrine is based on early beliefs (still practiced in Asia) that the human body has inter-related pressure points, that, when stimulated through massage, pressure or puncture, can affect and heal various ailments and maladies, including motion sickness. The Sea Band is elastic, resembling an athletic sweat band, except with a small white bead sewn into the middle. This bead is applied three fingers down from the break at the wrist to the underside of the arm between the two tendons that run the length of the arm.
