For serious sea kayak towing, nothing beats Valley's deck mounted towing system. 50' of floating polypropylene rope with a stainless steel carabiner with float inside a nicely made cordura nylon bag with an embroidered Valley logo. The line is daisy-chained down to 12' for towing in calm conditions, but release the small stainless clip and the line goes to its full 50' for towing through heavy swells and surf. Includes quick release cam cleat, bullseye fairlead, and stainless mounting hardware. WIth nothing 'round your waist, its a lot more comfy than a tow belt.
