The Squamish is a sporty rotomolded touring kayak conceived in the image of the very popular Solstice design family. Measuring 15' 8' by 23," the Squamish answers the call for smaller kayaks that excel in touring performance. She represents a fresh new approach to this category, incorporating some of the most desirable elements of North American and British kayak design styles. Some of these features include a retractable skeg and tight sealing rubber hatches, on a soft chined hull. The Squamish is sure to appeal to the new wave of kayakers looking for a fun, easy to use, performance sea kayak for day paddling and short range touring. The boat is available in polyethylene, fiberglass and kevlar and we stock it in all three materials at The Kayak Centre. We also stock the HV (high volume) version, for larger paddlers.
